Veteran Marisela Jimenez, was raised in the wonderful desert region of Glendale, Arizona. Growing up, she was quite the athlete from grade school through high school in love with basketball and cross country and the challenges it presented her. In her senior year of high school, she decided to take on a unique challenge and enlist in the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Only a few years after completing her USMC initial training requirements, Marisela had the opportunity to deploy once as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. She pursed an education in the legal field and graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors in Integrative Studies with a Concentration in Pre-Law. Today, Marisela still serves in the USMC, adding on to her current 12 dedicated years. In the civilian side of her life, she works in the Compliance field at a top leading provider of language and technology solutions for global business. Here she focuses on responsibilities to ensure the division of the company is within company regulations and guidelines. Marisela loves spending her free time being active in fitness and reading books on advancing her personal and career growth. A primary focus for her is her passion for improving client health, wellness and quality of life. So many of the hours that she has, she invests in designing and growing her personal training company, where she helps individuals reach their fitness and nutrition goals and educating them along the way.
