Veteran Vilma Cantu, a native of San Antonio Texas, is a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. She has proudly served 22 years and plans to retire in 2020. Sergeant Cantu is a Broadcaster and Public Affairs Specialist stationed at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. She served twice in Iraq, once as a PA Specialist and once as a Combat Cameraman where she spent eight months living with and supporting 1st Army Cavalry and 3rd Infantry Divisions. She is currently working toward completing her certification in leadership, as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications. In her minimal free time, she enjoys grilling on the weekends and relaxing with her 6 lb. yorkie named Bowzer.
